To meet the health care needs of nearly 22,000 women and children per year

To provide the best maternal health care in the region

To serve those that would otherwise go without maternal and child care

To provide critical care to nearly 400 infants per year with low births and other health complications

To reduce health complications to both mothers and children

To minister medical care to 2,000 women per year living in rural villages and scattered communities

To serve as a referral hospital to United Nations Relief and Works Agency refugee camps, the Government sector and other health providers in the area

To provide education and training for childbirth, hygiene, nutrition and childcare
