Gregory Granitto

Gregory Granitto, K.M., of Annapolis, MD., has been a member of the Order of Malta since 2001.  He has served as the Chancellor of the Federal Association and as a board member.  He was recently re-elected to the Federal Association board.

Greg was recently awarded the Grand Officers Cross pro Merito Melitensi for his service to the Order.

Greg has practiced law for over thirty years in Washington, DC, specializing in antitrust issues and complex litigation.  He has served as President of the John Carroll Society, which is a DC group of approximately 1, 500 professionals that was formed to assist the Archbishop of Washington in any manner requested.  As a member of John Carroll, he has served on the board overseeing the Archdiocese’s Pro Bono Legal Network, which provides pro bono legal services to the poor of the DC area.  Since 2002, he has served as pro bono counsel to Saint Dominic’s Monastery and helped them build a traditional monastery in Linden Virginia for a group of cloistered Dominican nuns.

Greg is married to Margaret Harvey Granitto, who is the daughter of Fra John Harvey, K.J., who passed away three years ago.  They have two children who are both students at Georgetown University.

 

Molly Heines

Molly Heines has been a consistent and substantial donor to the Hospital. She and her husband participate in our parish outreach program in New York City.

Molly Heines is a 1975 magna cum laude graduate of Barnard College and a 1978 graduate of Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Stone Scholar. She was a litigation associate, specializing in insurance law, with Simpson, Thatcher and Bartlett in New York City from 1978-1983, and she held varying positions in the firm’s law department from 1983-1995, finishing as Vice-President and Secretary. She and her husband, Thomas Moloney, KM, are both retired from this firm.

Her charitable activities have included: Chair and member of the board of Battery Dance Company, trustee of the Performing Arts School of Washington Irving High School, and coordinator and member of the teaching faculty of the Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton English/Grammar SAT prep course for WIHS students.

She has been a member of the Order since 2010 and has attended the Lourdes Pilgrimage.
