Kate Robinson joined the Foundation’s staff in May 2017 where she provides operational and strategic fundraising support for the organization. Kate has more than 10 years of communication and development experience working with non-profits around the globe.

Most recently, Kate worked with Kakenya Center for Excellence, an international non-profit dedicated to girls’ education and empowerment.  Working in their DC office, Kate implemented their communication strategy, cultivated and maintained donor relations, and managed daily operations for the organization.

Previously, Kate had the privilege of working for non-profits such as Second Harvest Food Bank of Wisconsin and Girl Neighborhood Power, organizations with a core mission of helping children and families whose voices are too often not heard.

A graduate of Fordham University with a BA in Political Science, Kate lives in Maryland with her husband and three teenage children.  She is happiest when sitting at a large dinner table surrounded by family and friends.

 

Katlyn Gangl, Marketing and Communications Manager

Katlyn Gangl joined the team at Holy Family Hospital Foundation of Bethlehem as the Development Assistant in March 2015.  She assumed the role of Marketing and Communications Manager in May 2017, and is responsible for the Foundation’s online and print communications.

Katlyn came to the Foundation after completing her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech in December 2014.  She holds a B.S. in Applied Economic Management with a focus in International Development and Trade.  In 2014, Katlyn spent four months in Arusha, Tanzania working with a local NGO on health empowerment and agricultural initiatives benefiting women and families in low-income communities.

A lifelong Catholic, Katlyn also serves as Music Minister at Shrine of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Washington, DC.
